Diego Armando Maradona was an Argentine professional football player and football coach. He is considered one of the best football players ever. In a poll organized by FIFA, Maradona was voted the best footballer of the twentieth century by the public. Throughout his life, the whole world could enjoy his football skills and he has also played in Europe. His fans nicknamed him El Diez (Ten), after his jersey number (10) at SSC Napoli, and Pelusa (Pluisje). On November 25, 2020, Maradona died at home in Dique Luján in his home country from the effects of cardiac arrest.
